Why BeingReal.nz?

BeingReal.nz is a Not for Profit organisation being established in 2017.

Motivated by an old outdated Kiwi attitude, the Tall Poppy Syndrome, which is to knock those that stand out and succeed. BeingReal.nz was created with the following purpose:

Help kiwis be proud of our unique identity and multicultural heritage. To supporting & encourage New Zealanders to be real in our self expression, to have a go, to embrace, support and encourage success, while still maintaining our identify as a friendly inviting nation of humble down to earth people.

Always looking for ideas and ways to fulfil our purpose, to support Kiwis to be proud of who we are, to encourage people to have a go, to stand out as unique, real and talented people. The following are two current projects:

  1. www.Teenagetrust.com An soon to be launched online learning program to support teenagers at school to grow in the area of personal confidence and decision making. Half of the revenue will go to any school promoting this program to their pupils as a fund raiser.  The objective is to empower, grow and inspire hope in teenagers, by building internal and external trust, building hope so that teenagers feel in control of their future. Helping them to decide their career path. Showing them the importance of healthy relationships and trust, and the important influence of our emotions, thoughts and attitude. Read more
  2. www.chipin.nz (www.chipin.co.nz) A Tinder like volunteer matching app, still in the early development stages of being built, is designed to help young people volunteer their time to help others. Read more

  • www.chipin.nz  (www.chipin.co.nz) New site coming soon. WHAT IS IT? A Tinder like matching app designed for young people to volunteer their time to help others. Anybody can list seeking help. They are more likely to be an older person who needs some help, for example with their firewood, or a charity seeking helpers.
